Kristi Prifti

Kristi Prifti, MPH is a researcher at the International Vaccine Institute (IVI), specializing in environmental epidemiology, antimicrobial use, and infectious disease surveillance in low- and middle-income countries in Asia and Africa. Her research examines the complex interplay between environmental determinants and infectious disease dynamics, with the goal of developing evidence-based strategies for disease prevention and control. 

Kristi’s expertise includes designing data capture tools and implementing surveillance systems to monitor antimicrobial usage under the CAPTURA/TACE projects. She has collaborated with international organizations and local health authorities to strengthen capacity-building efforts and promote sustainable health interventions.
