🌍 Advanced Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Data Analysis and Clinical Leadership Training in Seoul πŸ“Š

We were honored to organize and host a transformative three-day Advanced Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Data Analysis and Clinical Leadership Training at the Grand Intercontinental Hotel, Seoul. This high-level event was supported by the Fleming Fund through the CAPTURA and TACE projects, bringing together nearly 60 participants from over 15 countries and more than 20 expert speakers from around the world.

The training served as a platform for collaborative learning and knowledge exchange aimed at strengthening global efforts to combat AMR. It also highlighted innovative tools and methodologies for data analysis and evidence-based decision-making.

As both an organizer and presenter, our team had the opportunity to demonstrate how QAAPTβ€”a free, web-based AMR data visualization platformβ€”can support national, sub-national, and facility-level stakeholders, including microbiologists, pharmacists, technologists, epidemiologists, and public health professionals, in analyzing AMR data to drive impactful actions. Presentation resources from this session are available here.

We were privileged to welcome distinguished guests and AMR leaders, including:

  • Dr. Jerome Kim, Director General, IVI
  • Dr. Florian Marks, Deputy Director General & Head of EPIC, IVI
  • Dr. Nimesh Poudyal, Head of AMR Department, IVI
  • Professor Dame Sally Davies, UK Special Envoy on AMR

A special thanks to our esteemed expert speakers, including Dr. John Stelling, Professor Karin Thursky, Dr. Kamini Walia, Dr. Anthony Huszar, Dr. Nour Shamas, Dr. Sanjay Kumar Singh, Dr. Nitin Bansal, Mr. Steeve Ebener, Dr. Ramesh Kumar Lama, Dr. Immanuel Azaad Moonesar, Dr. Khulood Alsayegh, MΓ©lodie Sammarro, Ron Cheah, Emmanuel Eraly, Dr. Heidi Hopkins, Dr. Bassem Zayed, Dr. Carmen Espinosa-Gongora, Dr. Jacob Wildfire, Dr. Sadia Shakoor, Professor Richard J.
